My ship definitely came in when I met H. Jill built such a great community around herself. I'm so glad we got to see F*ck Seventh Grade - it so perfectly described my middle school experience.
oh my. thank you so much. i know i found Jill back in the 90's when I was trying so hard to just listen to women singers. and then.... i just started the listening to whatever seemed simple to access on my bluetooth, with special thoughts to my women singers from yore. somehow, after i read about her death, i searched her songs again, and found it was a good life, and my jewish friend sent an article, unrelated about beshert and I found this writing and it cannot all be by accident. I love this all. and I will be listening to more of her music again. much needed right now. such a beautiful tribute. such a beautiful person.

Found this through Beau. Thanks for this. Such a great loss.
Sarah this is a lovely tribute. ❤️ So deeply unfair that Jill is gone.
So unfair, especially when so many narcissistic sociopaths go on living. 😭
I did not know the Jill to H link! When you met, surely your love “ship came in.”
I still cannot believe the setting of her tragic loss.
Keep the light on for her.
